This Privacy Policy applies to the RishtayWaly mobile application, the RishtayWaly website, and related support services operated by inexol. By using RishtayWaly, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you create or use an account, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, gender, email address, phone number, profile photo, date of birth or age-related information, height, occupation, education, income, city, country, family details, partner preferences, and biography.
Activity and service information
We process information needed to provide the service, including profile browsing and matching activity, chat and call activity, subscriptions, reports, support communications, moderation actions, and notification preferences.
Technical information
We may process device and technical information needed to keep the service reliable and secure, including device notification tokens, app version, device settings, IP-related technical information, and logs generated when you use the service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, complete profiles, show relevant profiles, enable matrimonial discovery, provide chats and calls, deliver notifications, process subscriptions, provide support, improve reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our standards, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Profile visibility
Profile details and photos may be visible to other RishtayWaly users as part of profile discovery, matching, messaging, and matrimonial or social discovery features. Do not publish information you do not want other users to see. You remain responsible for the information and content you choose to share.
6. Device permissions
RishtayWaly uses internet access to connect to the backend and load app features. Notification permission is used for match, message, call, subscription, and account alerts. Camera permission is used only when you choose to take a profile photo. Photo or media permission is used only when you choose an image from your gallery. You can manage device permissions through your device settings, although some features may not work without them.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards designed to protect account information. No online system is completely secure, and you should protect your login credentials. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide support, prevent abuse, investigate reports, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
Reporting, blocking, and safety records
Report and Block are safety controls available in the RishtayWaly mobile app. From a profile or conversation, you can select Report or Block, choose a relevant reason, and add optional details. Blocking takes effect immediately: the blocked member is removed from your discovery and interaction experience, and they cannot send messages to you. Blocking does not require prior approval from an administrator.
When you submit a report, we process the report reason, optional details, relevant account identifiers, and related safety information so our team can review the concern and enforce our standards. You can manage your own report and block list in the app's Safety Centre. We may retain limited safety records after account deletion where necessary for abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or an active safety investigation. 8. Your choices, deletion, and requests
You can update certain profile details, change your password, sign out, manage notification preferences, and manage device permissions through the app or device settings. You can permanently delete your account from Settings in the app or follow our public Account Deletion instructions if you cannot access the app. Limited anonymized safety records may be retained where required for abuse prevention, legal compliance, or an active child-safety investigation.
9. Child safety and adult-only access
RishtayWaly – Rishta App is strictly for people aged 18 or older. Minors may not register or use the service. We do not permit content or behaviour that endangers children and have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). 10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, safety practices, legal obligations, or technology changes. The latest version is published on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use RishtayWaly after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
